Evangelist Melvina Stokes

Minister of Evangelism

Minister Melvina Stokes is a native of Cincinnati, Ohio.  She joined Cincinnati Bible Way Church (CBWC) in May, 1978. She has been an active member throughout her years there. Her love for music motivates her to use her voice to worship and praise God. She has been a member of the CBWC choir for many years and served on the  worship team for several of them. She has ministered in song at numerous churches, conferences, and events.

She was ordained as a member of the CBWC Diaconate board in May, 1995. In 2012, she graduated from the CBWC Eagles Bible Institute (EBI) School of Ministry. As an EBI student,  she has completed training in the School of Healing and Deliverance; and the School of the Prophetic. She has also received training from Veteran Community Outreach Initiative as well as other various seminars, training, conferences and workshops. She has served as Director for the Jets for Jesus Outreach Ministry for children, youth and currently serves on the church's Prophetic Presbytery and with Worshipping Arts Ministry on the Worship Team.

Melvina is employed with Cincinnati Public School and holds a B.A. in Business and a Master's Degree in Special Ed. She is the proud mother of a daughter and a grandmother of two. Her love and passion to see the lost come to Christ has allowed her to share her faith in an enthusiastic and compassionate manner. Her view on Evangelism is simply this, to bring non-Christians to Christ and teach Christians to do the same.
