James E. Blue Jr. was commissioned by God to leave Columbus, Ohio to pastor Cincinnati Bible Way Church in October 1977. He along with his wife Grace obeyed the Word of the Lord and relocated to Cincinnati, Ohio.
James was ordained and installed as pastor in November of the same year. Under his leadership Cincinnati Bible Way Church became an exciting vibrant growing non-traditional ministry. His co-laborer in the Lord, Grace, was ordained as co-pastor 5 years later. Together, they are determined to train and teach God’s people to have an impact as movers and shakers, to be kingdom builders and world changers as they offer their time, talents, and their treasures for the glory of God. Cincinnati Bible Way Church is a member of Bible Way Churches of America, headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri under the leadership of Bishop Patricia T. Whitelocke.
James has attended the Lutheran Theological Seminary in Columbus, Ohio, Temple Bible College in Cincinnati, Ohio, and he and Grace attended Florida Memorial College Summer Institute in Miami, Florida, as well as having taken part in numerous trainings through seminars, workshops, and conferences throughout the country. James was chosen as one of the Who’s Who of American Young Men. Grace retired as a primary classroom teacher and is now an educational technology consultant with her own business entitled BluePrints Consulting. She has her Bachelors degree in Education as well as two Masters degrees, along with a Principal Licensure Certificate. She had been an Adjunct Instructor for Cincinnati State College for a number of years. Both James & Grace consider themselves to be lifelong learners.
James and Grace were later called by God to be ordained as Apostles. Both have been members of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) and within the AACC held certification with the International Board of Christian Counselors (IBCC) and the Black African American Christian Counselors (BAACC).
They have traveled to many cities in the United States, countries in Africa, and the Caribbean preaching and teaching the Word of God. They have conducted marriage, deliverance, healing, and prophetic seminars. They also host a radio show on 1230 WDBZ at 3:00 pm every Sunday afternoon. James, an aspiring musician, plays the guitar and sings to the Glory of God. He believes as part of his mission, he is to teach God’s people how to be free so that they may walk in Kingdom Principles, “by any godly means necessary”. His approach to ministry has been humorous as well as life changing.
Happily married since 1976, James and Grace are the blessed parents of Patricia, (Brian), Angelene (Eugene), James III, and Grace Victoria. They are also the grandparents of 10 beautiful grandchildren, and the spiritual parents of countless others. Not only have they birthed four beautiful children but have given birth to the Eagles Bible Institute with courses in Healing/Deliverance, School of Ministry, School of the Prophets, School of Biblical Counseling, School of Prayer & Intercession, School of Technology, Power Evangelism, Hermeneutics, Financial Wisdom, Effective Teaching, and other life giving (zoe) courses to “Prepare (train, equip & empower) GOD’s people to serve GOD’s will, purpose, and counsel in their generation”.
